Loaded Chicken Ingredients
- You need 3 of large boneless skinless chicken breasts.
- Prepare 1/2 lb. of bacon.
- Prepare 6 slices of provolone cheese.
- You need 1 of onion, sliced.
- Prepare 1 pkg. of sliced fresh mushrooms.
- You need of vegetable oil and butter, for frying.
Loaded Chicken step by step
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice chicken breasts in half to make 6 servings..
- Season with spices of choice: I used black pepper, garlic powder and Mrs. Dash Onion & Herb seasoning..
- Place 3 at a time in enough oil to cover bottom of pan. Fry each side for 3 to 4 minutes or until browned..
- Remove to a baking sheet and place in oven for 8 minutes to finish cooking..
- Meanwhile cook your bacon until crispy..
- Saute onions and mushrooms in about 2 Tbsp. butter until soft..
- Top each chicken breast with provolone cheese and return to oven for 3 to 5 minutes or until melted..
- Top each chicken breast with a couple pieces of bacon followed by the onions and mushrooms. Enjoy!.
