- You need of Marinade.
- Prepare of Spring Onions (white part).
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Sugar.
- Prepare of Thai chili.
- You need 1 tsp of Salt.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of Fish Sauce.
- You need 1 tbsp of Sesame oil.
- You need of Main ingredient.
- Prepare pieces of Chicken.
- Prepare of Coconut water.
- Prepare of Honey.
- You need of Onion.
Vietnamese Caramelized Chicken instructions
- Chopped white part of the spring onions and thai chili into tiny pieces.
- Add in sugar, salt, fish sauce and sesame oil. Mix well..
- Add the chicken pieces into the sauce and mix well so sauce is evenly distributed. Marinate for an hour..
- Pan fry the chicken with little oil..
- Pour in the coconut water, and let it simmer in high heat..
- Add in the sliced onions and let it simmer again for 25 mins..
- Add in the Honey. Let it simmer in low heat for another 10-15 mins..
- Transfer the cooked chicken in a serving dish and pour the remaining marinade..
